Meet Your Teacher: Fang Xie 老师 lǎo shī

Hello everyone, I am Fang and I am original from Northeast of China. I have been lived in London over 25 years. I love children and always work with children last 20 years. I became a mandarin teacher 12 years ago when my son started to learn Mandarin in a school. I have wide experience in getting along with children and teaching mandarin in the UK. I have worked with children of all backgrounds&learning abilities, and children of different ages. I have also taught Chinese in different schools, day schools, clubs, and mandarin community schools. Children like to be a friend with me, I am a good listener, and children like to share with me. I teach children Mandarin through stories, games, songs, role play, etc.I am a very friendly teacher. Students feel relaxed in my class and like to speak actively. In my class, students actively participate in various interesting interactions.
In my free time I like to travel. I spend almost all my school holidays traveling around the world with my family, trying different food and learning different languages. In our family everyone speaks at least 3 languages. Of course we will go to China once a year, not only we can eat all kinds of Chinese food, but also can help my son improve his Mandarin. I hope I can meet one of my students in China one day ! It Is the most amazing thing!
