Meet Your Teacher: Hadiah Salah 老师 lǎo shī

Hello! I’m Hadiah, and I love teaching Mandarin to young children. I enjoy creating lessons full of movement, stories, and songs, so learning feels like a fun adventure. My teaching style is playful, engaging, and encouraging, and I always try to make every child feel confident and excited to participate.
One of my favorite things about teaching is seeing children light up when they use a new word or phrase. A Mandarin phrase I love to teach is “你好” (nǐ hǎo) – hello, because it’s a great way for children to connect with others and start conversations.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy travelling and drawing and I love finding little ways to bring creativity into my lessons. I hope every child remembers that learning a new language can be fun and exciting!
