Meet Your Teacher: Qu Lin 老师 lǎo shī

Lynn（ Qu Lin）is a dedicated educator and multilingual interpreter with over 16 years of experience in teaching, language services, and customer support. She holds a Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the University of Brighton and has a strong background in Mandarin education, having taught both children and adults in various community and mainstream schools across the UK. Passionate about early years language learning, Lynn specialises in creating engaging, interactive lessons that combine storytelling, music, and movement. She is DBS-checked, trained in safeguarding, and committed to delivering inclusive and culturally sensitive education.

Outside the classroom, Lynn enjoys basketball, table tennis, and volleyball—interests that reflect her energetic and hands-on teaching style. She has also run after-school baking clubs, where she blends creativity with practical skills to engage children in fun, educational experiences beyond language learning.
