Meet Your Teacher: Stephanie Xiang 老师 lǎo shī

My journey into teaching Mandarin began with my little one. I motivate by the desire to share my language and culture with my kid. You would be surprised that Chinese is the dominant language in the Chinatowns of London, New York and Vancouver. Mandarin is the fasting growing second language in Western countries. I believe that language is more than just vocabulary and grammar. It is a living expression of culture, history and human emotion. I would love to share the beauty of Mandarin with children. This viewpoint drives my passion to make Mandarin exciting and playful to children.
