Meet Your Teacher: Tracy 老师 lǎo shī

Tracy has been working in education and teaching English and drama for more than ten years internationally, mainly in China and UK. With diverse educational practice, she is experienced in developing and teaching educational drama programs as well as learning second language through drama programs for all ages.

She also has created, directed and performed children’s shadow theatre like Sweet Dreams, Monster Nian and Carps Leaping Over the Dragon Gate. She had made more than 100 performances for the theatre-in-education productions.

After studying MA applied theatre at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, she’s working as a freelancer in London theatre and schools, involving in drama programs and promoting learning Mandarin through drama.

About China, she would definitely introduce her hometown Guangzhou to you since it’s the city with flowers and countless great food! Also, it’s close to the beach side. This makes surfing accessible. Your drama and Mandarin teacher is also a surfer.
