Meet Your Teacher: Yan Li 老师 lǎo shī

I love playing and going on adventures with children. Watching, accompanying, and witnessing their growth and smiling faces is one of the happiest experiences in my life.

I enjoy traveling and have two children of my own. Our family used to live in Shanghai, and since 2016, we’ve gone on road trips across China every summer or winter holiday. Together, we’ve explored breathtaking landscapes in Tibet and Xinjiang, visited fascinating museums across many provinces, seen pandas and baby pandas in Chengdu, ridden horses in Inner Mongolia, and even taken a hot air balloon ride over the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden.

I’m excited to begin a fun Mandarin-learning adventure with children and to share just how amazing they truly are.
