What's a class like?
Warm-up
The session begins with gentle, playful activities to get the children settled and excited. This might include a welcome song in Mandarin, simple greetings, and a short game to introduce the theme of the day. It’s all about creating a happy, relaxed atmosphere where children feel ready to join in.
Story Adventure
The main part of the class takes children on an imaginative journey. Through stories, songs, actions and role play, they meet characters, explore new places and learn key Mandarin words and phrases. The adventure is interactive and full of movement, so children are actively involved, whether it’s acting out a scene, singing along or solving little challenges.
Reflection & Goodbye
To finish, the group comes together to reflect on what they’ve learned, share their thoughts and opinions. Children might recall key words, share something they enjoyed, or join in a calming song. The class closes with a cheerful goodbye in Mandarin, leaving children with a sense of achievement and excitement for the next adventure.
We divide our classes into two 30-minute sessions, ensuring every child receives focused, high-quality learning and has plenty of opportunities to for self expression and discovery.
